Secondary education includes students between 14 and 18 years of age, these can select
which school to attend within those that are designated for international students.
The school year is divided into two (2) semesters and each semester
can be take up to four (4) academic courses (credits).
English classes (ESL) are offered in five levels throughout the school year
as a credit course to help students strengthen the language.
International students must meet the following requirements to graduate from the level and receive the High School Diploma in any of the Provinces or Territories in Canada: complete the 18 compulsory credits and 12 optional credits and pass the exam of reading and writing.
